SUMMARY:WEBINAR ON LAW RELATING TO HUF - WITH SPECIFIC REFERENCE TO RECENT SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT
DESCRIPTION:\nRights of coparcener in the property of Hindu Undivided Family has been subject matter of litigation over a period of time. In 2005\, an amendment was passed to Hindu Succession Act\, to remove the discrimination between daughter and son\, thereby providing them equal rights in the ancestral property. \nHowever\, a new controversy erupted\, wherein questions were raised whether amendment granting benefit to daughter was applicable only if the father was alive when the amendment was passed or otherwise also. Recently\, the Supreme Court in an historic judgement has cleared all ambiguities relating to daughters right in the property. \nIn order to understand the various issues on Law relating to HUF and implication of recent Supreme Court judgement\, a Study Circle Meeting has been planned on the above subject. \n\n\n\nDate & Day\n:\nFriday\, 6th November\, 2020\n\n\nTime\n:\n5.00 pm to 7.00 pm\n\n\nTopic\n:\nLaw relating to HUF – with specific reference to recent Supreme Court Judgment\n\n\nSpeaker \n:\nMr. Bharat Raichandani\, Advocate\n\n\nRegistration Link\n:\nhttps://bit.ly/2SuPMJO \n\n\n\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Then click on the link received on your email to join the webinar. \n  \n
