SUMMARY:IDT STUDY CIRCLE MEETING ON  PRACTICAL ISSUES REGARDING E-WAY BILL & E-INVOICING
DESCRIPTION:Currently E-invoicing is mandatory for all tax-payers having aggregate turnover exceeding Rs. 50 Crores. Whereas generation of E-way bill is mandatory for all movement of goods. Many practical issues are being currently faced by tax-payers at the time of generation of such E-way bills & E-invoices on the GST portal. Further\, there are great ramifications if E-way bill and E-invoices are not properly prepared such as denial of ITC\, confiscation of goods\, detention of vehicle\, levy of tax\, Interest\, levy of penalties etc. There are practical issues regarding change in vehicle due to breakdown etc. Rights and duties of officer in charge\, vehicle owner\, driver of the vehicle\, owner of the goods needs to be discussed. \nIn order to deal with all practical issues under E-way Bill & E-invoicing\, the IDT Committee of CTC has organized a study circle meeting on practical issues under E-way Bill & E-invoicing.
