DESCRIPTION:Compliances & reporting for Companies have significantly increased under the Companies Act\, 2013. There are significant recent amendments which would be applicable to the Private Companies other than Small Companies and also for Limited Liability Partnerships. These cover the Demat of Securities and the Beneficial Ownership provisions. \nThe Study Circle Meeting is proposed to be held to understand the rationale behind the amendments\, the implications of the same\, the requirements and the consequences of non-compliances. \nFurther\, it has also been observed that the Registrar of Companies (“RoC”) across the various jurisdictions are playing active role in adjudication of the Penalties for contravention of various provisions of the Act as far as Compliances are concerned.
